Start out by opening a new document
in Poser 4. We'll start off by deleting the Default Man figure,
using the Menu Bar go to [ Figure-Delete Figure ] then click
ok to delete your figure. Now we'll add a new figure to our
Document Window by pressing [ Shift Ctrl+b ] to bring up our
Libraries Palette, then choose Figures / Additional Figures
/ Skeleton Man , then click on the Create New Figure Button
at the bottom of the menu, like shown in the example image. |
| |
 |
You should now have a Skeleton Man figure
appearing in your Document window. Now what we need to do is
Export our figure, from the Menu Bar go to [ File-Export-Wavefront(OBJ)
] and now use the Default Export settings by clicking the Ok
button on each window that appears and then save the file to
your hard drive. |
| |
 |
You can now close Poser and Open a new document
in Bryce 5. Now from the Menu Bar go to [ File-Import Object
] find the (OBJ) file you just saved and click on the Open button
to Import it. Now go to the Edit Palette and use the Rotate
Tool to rotate the figure and then use the Resize Tool to resize
the figure, You should now have something similar to the example
image on the left. |
| |
 |
Now for the fun stuff, lets add some Materials!
Select your figure and then Click on the small "M"
button located to the right of your figure to bring up the Materials
Lab. Now click on the small arrow to the right of the preview
image to bring up the Materials Library and then go to [ Simple
& Fast ] and now choose the Mirror material and then click the
Ok arrows, like shown in the example image |
| |
 |
Now press [ Ctrl+R ] to render your cool
looking skeleton! You should have something similar to the example
image. |

It is fairly simple to Import new objects
into Bryce, try importing other Poser models and see what you
can come up with :) |
