This is a really handy tool
and also saves a lot of time when your working with large scenes.
Ok, open Bryce and create a simple object or terrain. Now make
sure your object or terrain is selected and than click on the
small arrow located to the right or the "Create" tab to bring
up the "Objects" window. Now at the very bottom of the window
there's a small "Installed" tab, click on the arrow to the right
of the tab and select "User" like show in the example image
to the left. |
| |
 |
Now click on the "Add" tab which is also
located at the bottom of the window to save your newly created
object. Now give your object a name and description and click
on the check mark, you just created a new object! If you look
there is also a few other tabs (Import, Export and Delete),
you can easily Export your new objects and Import them, or even
delete them :) If you want to Export multiple objects, select
one object by clicking it and then hold down Shift and click
on other objects to select them, then export. |

| |
You can also add new object category's,
say you want a Terrain category, go into your Bryce 5 directory,
than go into the Presets > Objects folder and create a new folder
called Terrain. Now if you open your Objects window in Bryce
again you'll notice that there's a new category called Terrain
:) This also works with "Materials" , go into Presets > Materials
and add new folders to manage your Materials. |
